SUNY Geneseo is seeking an experienced Employee Relations Specialist to support up to a two-year temporary appointment. This is a hybrid position with a flexible work schedule.

This position is designated as Management Confidential and serves at the pleasure of the President. It is not eligible for permanent appointment, nor is it represented by a collective bargaining unit. A full range of benefits are available.

HR Partner Under direction of the Director, the individual in this position is responsible for providing Human Resource guidance and consultation to leaders at all levels and employees within their assigned client groups. This position focuses on supporting agency goals through people practices including performance management, leadership development, organization design and effectiveness, change management and team development. Performs as primary HR interface to Agency client groups. 

Under the supervision of and in cooperation with the Director of Human Resources is responsible for carrying out responsibilities in payroll, benefits administration, and employment law compliance.
