Looking to move your employees internationally? You’ve probably got a million questions, and we’re here to answer them. During this session we will provide a detailed overview of global mobility; discuss various more traditional international assignments types; and focus on the Balance Sheet Approach and home-based assignment types.
Included in the presentation will be a breakdown of cost of living differential calculations, housing allowances, assignment premiums and hardship pay, as well as an analysis of the key differences between long and short-term assignments. We will also discuss current competitive practices, cost projection calculations, payroll set up, hypothetical tax, letters of assignments and immigration. In addition, we will discuss tax compliance issues and considerations for Employers/ Employees prior to and while on assignment. Session attendees can expect to attain a baseline understanding of the basic principles of international assignments, as well as some key tax and benefit considerations every organization should consider prior to sending employees on assignment.
